Maureen is the Founder of RavenTree Coaching & Consulting, based in Whitehorse, Y.T.
She is of Tahltan ancestry from the Northwestern Coast of British Columbia through her mother’s lineage and of Scottish ancestry, through her father’s lineage on the Eastern Coast of Nova Scotia.
In 2013, Maureen began her career in Leadership Coaching after having worked with Health Canada for many years.
She works with people at all levels- within government, entrepreneurship, education, and community - deepening their connection to who they are, what they stand for and the results they want to create in their work, family and community.
As a Facilitator of the Daring Way™ (Brené Brown), Maureen weaves in vulnerability, self-compassion, emotional agility, and courage building practices into her coach approach.
Core to her coaching approach is co-creating and holding safe, brave spaces in which people feel seen and heard, and can bravely be themselves.
As a Certified Facilitator of Cultivating Safe Spaces, Maureen is passionate about sharing this innovative approach to decolonizing the spaces in which we work and live, in relationship with one another as human beings.
Maureen facilitates Cultivating Safe Spaces, in person and virtually, to leaders, groups and teams within organizations, governments, and community grassroot spaces.
