Janet is a settler woman located in the ancestral, traditional, unceded territory of the Algonquin & Anishinaabe peoples, Elphin & Ottawa, Ontario. She is a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, mother, aunt, grandmother, mentor & connector. Her pronouns are she/her/elle/ella. She provides services in English, French & Spanish.
As a Cultivating Safe Spaces Master facilitator, she holds space for individuals, teams, groups & organizations for meaning making & relationship building in supporting the sharing of experiences such as trauma, scarcity, loss, grief & gratitude. She has twice presented at CSS National Conferences, on Trauma of Money & Climate Work.
Janet is a Fellow CPA&CMA, is an Integral Master Coach, a Climate Change & a Trauma Informed Relationship Coach & is Bereavement Facilitator. Her work that integrates Circle Practice, creates spaces for conversations that matter & diversity in perspective, calling on the three centres of body intelligence (head/heart/gut) & provides for holistic development & awakening to one’s innate leadership. Learning/working with global cultures is integrated with the Humanitarian Coaching Network. Her work includes possibility of mix & match for organizational development requirements, such as coaching, facilitation, trauma or conflict based work, consulting in human development topics.
As a former Executive with the Federal Government Public Service, with over 30+ years of Leadership Management, she leverages diversity of experience including engagement in financial arrangements, community infrastructure & community planning. Much of her work has been in the sustainability field. Janet is a Climate Reality Leader & a country Ambassador for She Changes Climate.
Janet’s self care includes avid walking, spending time with her grandchildren & her two dogs and whenever she can get away, retreats to her cabin in the rural area of Elphin, Ontario.
